A page for our good friend, Tom Bombadil:  The first is a bilingual Pocket edition from 1990 featuring Tom not at all, but rather Bilbo and the Dwarves at Erebor, who knows why... The second is the front and back cover of the charming 1973 edition with pastel-coloring by Pauline Baynes.  Third, a 2002 Russian version (is that Goldberry?) and finally the 2005 Tolkien collection featuring Gary Lippincott's illustration of Bombadil dancing among other denizens of the wood.
