The Lord of the Coffee
In no particular order, by Lothithil mostly, with various others stirred in.
Lost in the Old Forest, Frodo once sang a song to his companions... do you recall?
"O! Wanderers in the shadowed land
despair not! For though dark they stand,
all woods there be must end at last,
and see the open sun go past:
the setting sun, the rising sun,
the day's end, or the day's begun.
For east or west all woods must fail...
But in Middle girth, it is NescaFrodo whose voice is heard, ringing
through the Black Forest. He is singing a song that his Uncle Bilbean
taught him, to try to raise his companions' spirits. Hark!... or Lo!
O! Lingerers in the Starbucks line
Swear not! for the coffee's fine,
your time will come to order at last
though you've missed your bus and the day's flown past:
Watch the rising sun, the setting sun
Standing in line is so much fun!
For this queue moves slower than a snail...
It always drove me crazy that he never finished that song! So you see, my madness is all Frodo's fault!
