March 1, 1437 SR: The Plague seems to have burned itself out. No new victims today. The Guards have been moving through the Precincts, getting news. There is a ship from Far Harad at the quay, and others as well. The King has gone down there, and folk stood on the streets and cheered as he rode by. The news from Far Harad is reassuring. No Plague there, at least not yet, and the repairs to Sardara are moving ahead. Prince Faramir and Duke Askelon both wrote to the King, and others have reported as well, and all goes smoothly, and with good will. Legolas Greenleaf has gone into the Interior and has not been heard from, but that is not a worry to anyone, he was not alone, and as the King said, he can take care of himself.

I still tire very easily, but I am restless and cannot settle. Master Ronceval, who was also ill, has asked me to come and help him with some papers for Radagast, so I will go tomorrow. I need something useful to do. We Maidens walked out this morning, in the Park, in the mild sunshine. Perhaps I shall get to the stables this week and see Pixie.
