and challenged me....I stood up and he started backing
away....apparently he hadn't heard about my 'growth spurt'....

1. What time do you get up?
I'm awake...no I'm dreaming of getting kissed by Brego. Eeewwwwwwww Ok I'm awake now! I only nap. I don't need much sleep.
2. If you could eat lunch with one person, who would it be?
The Argonath! Long have I desired to see them chow down.
3. Gold or silver?
Hardened Numenorean Steel. Why doesn't my sword glow when there are
Orcs about?! Sting glows, Glamdring glows, Anduril should glow! I'm the
KING ******! I want a glowing sword too! Gleaming in the sunshine is
nothing a bit of spit and polish can't accomplish. I knew I shouldn't
have checked that box that said reforge and make good as new, when the
elves took my order.
4. What was the last film you saw at the cinema?
Midde Earth Revolutions. Wow, that Arwen chick is realy hot! In my
dreams she was as real as when I held her in my arms. Man that elf just
drives me to the end's of Middle Earth. I just wish her father would
lighten up a bit on me. He still faults me for his daughters choice to
become mortal.
5. What is your favorite TV show?
Gollum. He's on the cable network. Middle Earth Network. You should see
how neurotic he acts when THE RING is nearby. I just love the way his
pupils dilate when he's Smeagel and then constrict back to a pinprick
when he's being that old Stinker. Oh! When he's jumping off walls and
kicking about, he reminds me of a young kitten. All kinds of frisky. He
just cracks me up. I hope I can still get around like he does when I'm
his age. He's way cooler than that Yoda fella from a galaxy far, far,
away.
6. What do you have for breakfast?
Oh Please! Don't get me any of that stew Eowyn made. I'd rather just
smoke some long bottom leaf and kick back with some of that lembas
bread Arwen made for me a month ago.
7. Who would you hate to be stuck in a room with?
I think it would have to be Isildur. He could have saved us all a lot
of trouble by just listening to Elrond, a-hem....like I DID.
8. What/who inspires you?
Elrond. He's da man, er elf I mean. He fought so many enemies and
survived them all. His skill with the blade makes mine seem paltry and
weak. I've studied all his martial arts skills and that's how I learned
to fight and survive my battles. The only reason I survived the Paths
of the dead was because Elrond had my family heirloom reforged so the
Dead King knew not to mess with me.
9. What is your middle name?
I think I already have enough monikers. Middle names just detract from them.
10. Beach, City or Country?
Give me the peace and tranquility of the country any day. Maybe I
should go hang out with the ents now that the hobbit's seemed to have
them all awake now. Who knows maybe that ent draught is the thing that
will bring the Dunedain long life like they used to know. At least it
would make me taller so the chick's would dig me more.

Swaggering Simbelmyne, or Caradhras Blizzard. They are both very close.

Plain, that's the way I've grown accustomed to it. It's almost better than that elvish way bread.

It's a lovely steed with 140 horses under the hood. They say it's not
your Gaffer's Oldsmobile. Pity they have gone the way of the
Numenoreans.

Pippin says the salted pork is particularly good. Anything's got to be
better than THAT stew. Uggh! I still have the taste of it in my mouth.

I would sail to the undying lands and visit my friends. I miss them all

I'm particularly fond of the Warg races. So much excitement. Never a dull moment when the Wargs are in town.

Saruman. Heard his last job didn't go well and he's been sacked, or

that’s a bit odd.

Frodo. Ever since I saved his butt from that Troll in Moria he's been
on my heels like a lap dog. He just can't get enough of me. Kind of sad
realy. He used to be quite a hot shot in the Shire and now look at him.

Gimli. He has no patience for this sort of thing. He'd rather be
mending walls in Moria or hunting down another 43 or so Orcs. Give him
an Elf to compete against and my money is on Gimli. But this paper work
sort of thing just really gets under his beard.

Dunedain don't require much sleep. So I would say both.

That's an interesting question. Do you mean before I kicked that Orc helm or after?

You haven't heard of Brego the wonder horse? Once when I was watching
the Warg races, one of them crashed into the bleachers and sent me on a
trip over this cliff wall. I mean it was a terrible thing. My friends
all thought I couldn't have survived the fall into the treacherous
river below, not to mention the rocks I barely missed on my way down.
But Brego knew right were I'd be. Gave me mouth to mouth and brought my
lifeless body back. Praise the Valar. They sure made him one smart
horse. Nothing like that Shadowfax. Oh sure Shadowfax can run fast, but
that doesn't take any brains. Brego could have performed CPR on me if I
had needed it. He used to be a field medic for Theodred till his master
took one too many Orc arrows.

Boromir. What a performance! I've never seen anyone die so well and yet
come back for two encores. And Galadriel for her grace and poise. She
doesn't say much her but the way she looks at you. I mean it's like
she's looking right through you. Very un-nerving.

I dunno....I would probably just keep sleeping except those dang Bree
ponies just HAVE to neigh when they wake up........do they *really*
have to make so much noise? apparently.......*rolls eyes*
2. If you could eat lunch with one person, who would it be?
Pippin's gerbil Leroy.....I heard she was sat on by Merry though, so I
guess it's kinda late for me to have luncheon with her (and yes, Leroy
is a girl.......Pippin didn't realize that until she was already
named....)

Neither really...don't have any need for it....
4. What was the last film you saw at the cinema?
Hidalgo....very good movie....I recomend it highly, especially if you are a pony with a dream :-)

Mr. Ed....he's incredible!

Kibbles and Bits for Ponies....it's a new product, I just tried it
today......but other days I just have an apple or a
carrot.....basically whatever Sam will feed me....

Bill Ferney..that jerk...he'd never feed me! and he always made fun of
me, and I never got two words in......I would start to say something
and he'd just start talking again......then he would call me stupid

Shadowfax.....and Brego.....the stories they tell.....so amazing.....if
only I had been there......I coulda done it.....I mean, if I had stayed
with the fellowship, or been allowed to come back like Shadowfax and

1. What time do you get up?
Between 4 or 5am – I know that the Nameless One doesn't sleep – I try
to get as little as possible – then go to the Palantir and see what the
heck he's been up to while I was sleeping. I hate that… man, being,
thing!
2. If you could eat lunch with one person, who would it be?
No one – I usually eat on the run. What little time I have, I must use to spy on everyone and everything.
3. Gold or silver?
Mithril people, Mithril!
4. What was the last film you saw at the cinema?
The cinema? I spend all my time looking at that dratted Palantir.
Between Saruman and the Nameless One – they keep me pretty busy. Though
I really wanted to see `Gondor'- I'd hoped to learn a little battle
strategy – seemed to be a familiar theme – big army coming against
walled-in city. I could use pointers!!! Come to think of it – the
walled city lost. Maybe I won't see it.
5. What is your favorite TV show?
The White Wing. Great show about this dude who's in charge of this
country and his family drives him nuts along with incompetent
councilors and stuff. I can really relate!
6. What do you have for breakfast?
Wine, a little cheese, a wizard or two.
7. Who would you hate to be stuck in a room with?
The Nameless One – but that seems to be my lot. I go up to my little
room in the Tower and fight with him every day. Another thing that
bothers me about communicating with this guy is his huge ego – you
think that eye is big??? And what's with the blue light? Does he think
he's running K-Mart?
8. What/who inspires you?
Ah – it is the Stewards of old. Probably Mardil Veronwe – now he was
pretty neat. Couldn't keep his king from going off on a fool's errand,
but realized he weren't comin' back and took over! My kind of guy!!!
9. What is your middle name?
I'm sorry – that is foreign to me. I am Denethor II. That is all that
is needed. If you don't know me, then you are out of the loop.
10. Beach, City or Country?
Well, since my Stewardship controls all – I'd have to say all three.
The beaches of Dol Amroth are particularly pleasing to me as that is
where I found my wife. Minas Tirith – who or what could ever compete
with this spectacular place. GONDOR – oh – I suppose you're talking
about the countryside. Well, since I must deal with farmers, traders,
etc. I am comfortable with the land too.
11. Favorite ice cream?
Minas Tirith Toffee – like the crunch of the old battlements that they
put into it for texture! We use those pieces of concrete for just about
everything!!!
12. Butter, plain or salted popcorn?
I love buttered popcorn, but it makes my fingers slippery and then I
tend to drop that dratted Palantir, which usually lands on one of my
feet – I think it does it on purpose – and then trying to
clean the butter off the Palantir so I can see clearly, a real pain!!!
13. Favorite color?
Black – especially my mithril mail. Light as a feather, yet hard as
dragon scales. That Hobbit thought he was the only one the Dwarves made
one for.
14. What kind of car do you drive?
Ah – of course my favorite is the MG 2930. Made by Dwarves in the year
of my birth especially for me. The M of course, stands for Mardil, our
greatest Steward and the G for Gondor. I tried to get them to create a
whole new line – the DG – you know Denethor and Gondor, but they
wouldn't do it. I hate working with Dwarves.
15. Favorite sandwich?
My personal favorite is the Turgon Turkey Club. Excellent!
16. What characteristic do you despise?
Pride – I know it's useful at times, but I really hate people who are proud.
17. Favorite flower?
Hah! Do you even need to ask??? Why the flower from the White Tree of
Nimloth. Still got my fingers crossed that I'll see one during my
lifetime!
18. If you could go anywhere in the world on vacation, where would you go?
Ahhhhhh…. Numenor. Yes – the land of my forefathers. Well, it would
have to raised first from the depths of the sea, but since Ulmo can
move islands, I don't see it being a problem with him just raising one
up!
19. What color is your bathroom?
Isn't this a little too personal?
20. Favorite brand of clothing?
I would love a crown, simple yet tasteful. Made of mithril.

Any day where I can have a little peace!!!

Spent some time in the Tower with the Palantir, yelled at Faramir and
watched for Boromir. Dratted kid – said he'd be gone for only a couple
months. I should be angry with him, but – well, you know him. He's the
best kid in the whole of Middle Earth.
24. Where were you born?
Minas Tirith, of course. Country of Gondor. Middle Earth.
25. Favorite sport to watch.
Boromir's sword practice. The kid is good!
26. Who do you least expect to send this back to you?
Faramir – the kid hates me. I don't know why. I'm a good father; did
everything I could to bring him up to be a strong and courageous leader
of Gondor, ready to take on all Gondor's enemies. He prefers to spend
his time picking flowers in Ithilien! Bah!

Boromir – the kid loves me! Does everything I ask of him the first time, no questions asked. I love that kid!

Mithrandir – he has so many stage names though, it's hard to keep them
straight. The Grey, The Grey Pilgrim, The Grey Wanderer, Stormcrow, and
his newest – the White. I get a kick out of him. Thinks I don't know
what he is. He's not that good an actor! But I just love when he huffs
and puffs.

In the rare event that things are normal, I get up very early. Otherwise, I just get a quick forty winks whenever I can.

Eomer of Rohan. I've only gotten to speak with him in passing, but he
seems to be some kind of warrior...I'd love to swap tales with him over
a tankard of ale. And can he ever ride!

Gold, without a question.

Film? Are you kidding? I'm a captain of Gondor...I don't have time for films!
5. What is your favorite TV show?
Well...I have to admit I do make time to see the Gondorian History
Channel every now and then. Faramir got me hooked on it...he's nuts
about it!

Whatever is available...recently it's been dried meat and Lembas.

Galadriel. The way she looks at a guy is really un-nerving. It's like she can see everything I'm thinking.

Faramir. He is very different from me, but he always knows what I'm
thinking, and can always help me figure out a problem. Dad's always
hard on him, but Faramir almost never looses his temper.

Humn...that's a tough one. I think I'd have to say the City. Minas
Tirith, you know. Though the beach would be a close runner-up. It
reminds me so much of Mum...what little I remember of her.
