Lore of the Ring Round 4 - (April Fools!)

Greetings fellow Lore seekers!

Ashlyn decided that she had to pass on running this round and the Lore Mastership has been passed on to me. I apologize for jumping the gun here but if I don't get this posted tonight it will be very late tomorrow before I get another chance. The Lore Possum should be along soon to confirm the change.

On to the game!

1. Not counting movements within cities and destinations; how many leagues in total were travelled by members of the Fellowship from the time the four Hobbits left Crickhollow to the time they returned?

2. How many days passed from the time Isildur took possession of the One Ring till the time it was unmade?

4. What do midges eat when they can't get Hobbit?

6. How many ships are at the bottom of Anduin?

7. List in chronological order everyone who came in contact with the One Ring, why they had it and how long they had it, from the time it was made to the time it was unmade.

8. How many times could Earendil and his Silmaril be seen in the sky during the time frame from Bilbo's Birthday party to the end of the War of the Ring?

9. Translate this phrase to Westron: Aa' menle nauva calen ar' ta hwesta e' ale'quenle

10. How many Elves left Middle-Earth after the end of the First Age?

11. Why do the white gulls cry?

12. How many times does Gimli try to sneak a smooch from Galadriel in Minas Tirith after the end of the war?

13. What are the names of the seven dwarves who stood watch over Arwen's tomb?

14. At the council of Elrond after Frodo said “I will take the Ring, though I do not know the way” who started chanting “Follow the Yellow Brick Road”?

15. What does the following phrase have to do with this quiz: April Fools! Smile

There is only one Master of the Lore, and she does not share power!

*Eärrámë leaps off the tower and frantically looks around... "where's that turkey that supposed to catch me?!?!"*

The real Round 4 starts on Monday, April 4th! Don't forget that April is a designated easy round! Look for an excellent quiz by Lore Master Ashlyn!

As for me, I'll be over in the corner nursing my wounds after Ashlyn and Lore Possum see this.
