We have a night of entertainment and fun lined up for you all. Though
other people who have a **so called life** have dates, dinners,
dancing, and movie plans, we who spend our nights in either the
grocery store, watching tv, or on our computer will have the real
fun!! To begin the night, I have asked Decipher to provide us with
a Karaoke machine!
(Cheers all around!!!)
I'll start the night Singin' the Blues!!! My old favorite...sung to the
tune of Barney. It's a love song....a bittersweet love song......
I love Sam,
Sam doesn't love me,
We both have a family,
With a great big sob,
and a broken heart too,
I will cry till
I turn from green to blue
Sung to the tune of "My little Pony"
My little Samwise
My little Samwise
I love your curly hair
My little Samwise
My little Samwise
You go with Frodo to show how much you care
My little Samwise
My little Samwise
I'd love to go wherever you go
My little Samwise
My little Samwise
Oh I envy Rosie so!
Sung of the tune of the "Hallelujah Chorus"
Frodo Baggins
Frodo Baggins
I love him, he's hot!
I swoon for his eyes
Sung to the beatles "I wanna hold your hand"
Oh yaaaah I'll, tell you a story
I know you'll think is grand,
When Iii, tell of Frodo,
and his best friend Saaaaaaam,
I know that you'll like Sam,
I know that you'll like Sam,
They traveled East to Mordor
Through rough and barren land
Keepin company, with the creature Gollum,
No, hes not pleased with Saaaaam,
I know that you'll like Sam,
I know that you'll like Sam
When they meet Shelob.... I get nervous inside
It is so sad, I just cant help but cryyyyy
I know that you'll like Sam
I know that you'll like Sam
Galdalf's song to Frodo "Here come the nine" in Bag End
(to the tune of "I will survive")
First I was afraid, I was petrified
when Bilbo called the ring "preciouss" and barely left its side
And while I spent so many nights
researching what was really wrong
the ring grew strong
and it wants back where it belongs!
Oh now go!
Leave now Frodo!
Don't turn around now --
Don't say you're Baggins anymore!
weren't you the one who's had big dreams to leave the shire
well, now you must,
because you hold the ring of fire!
Here come the nine
Here come the nine
Oh as long as you have Sam with you
I hope you will be fine
The Nazgul will not win
if you just make it to the inn
Here come the nine
Here come the nine
hey hey
and only a little cheesy :P
sung to "candle in the wind"
It seemed to me you lived your life
Like a hobbit in the shire,
Never knowing where to go to,
When the ring was gone.
And I would have liked to go with you
but I had to stay,
Your boat set sail a short time after,
My happy Wedding Day......
To the tune of "I'm too sexy"
I'm a hobbit, you know what I mean?
And for answers I just turn to Gandalf
yeah, to Gandalf
that wizard Gandalf, yeah
I shake my little head and turn to Galdalf
I'm too little for long pants
too little for long pants
I could trip, so why take the chance?
And I'm too little for this seat
too little for this seat
the floor won't reach my feet
I'm a hobbit, you know what I mean?
And I came to the Pony to meet Gandalf
yeah to meet Gandalf
that grey guy Gandalf, yeah
we're in trouble now, so where is Gandalf?
I'm too little for a steed
too little for a steed
but Bill will fill the need
And I'm too little for this ring.
Here's a song about sam finding his courage, I hope you know the
song 'The Man in Me' by bob dylan, those of you lebowskian's will
know it (fans of the movie The Big Lebowski) for certain.
The Sam in Me by Bobwise Dylangee
(orcs in background, swaying and snapping fingers in unison)
oooooooooooooooooooooh ooooooooooooh
la la la la la la la la la
la la la la la la
la la la la la
la la la
la la la la
la la la
la la la la la la la la
The Sam in me will do nearly any task
and as for compensation only lembas would he ask
Take a one ring like you
To get through, to the Sam in me
Storm clouds are raging all around Gondor
I think to myself I might not make it to Mordor
Take a one ring like your kind
To find the Sam in me
But, oh, what a horrible feeling
Just to know that you are near
Sets my heart a reeling
From my toes to my fingers
The Sam in me will hide sometimes to keep from bein' seen
But that's just because he doesn't want to be tortured on some machine
Take a one ring like you
To get through to the Sam in me
la la la la la la la la la la la la la
la la la la la la la la la la la la
Sung to Chicagos hard habit to break (ok so I don't remember the whole song, but you get the idea!)
You're a hard hobbit to take....
You insisted on coming,
You had ever reason,
Even Elrond couldn't keep you behind,
4 hobbits together,
Frodo can't go alone
You were going on this mission...quest.. thing
You blabbed your mouth in Bree
There was no late breakfast,,
You threw rocks in the water,
wakin the creep.....
After all of those things
You still complained in Moria,
and you made all that nosie....
Drums in the deep..
Your a hard, hard hobbit to take.
I think that I shall never see
A place as lovely as M.E.
Indeed, without P.J. et al,
I'd never see M.E. at all!
(To the tune of that horrid Barney song)
I love Dom, what's with me?
I already have a family,
With a husband and some cockatiels to boot.
Merry is too gosh-darn cute.
Sung to the Tune of Rudolph the red nosed reindeer
You know Samwise and Gandalf,
and Merry and Pippin,
Boromir and Strider,
and Leggy and Gimli.
But do you recall.....
The most famous creature of all?
Frodo the blue-eyed hobbit,
had a very shiny ring....
to the tune of "Mickey" by Tony Basil
Oh Frodo you're so fine
You're so fine you blow my my mind
Hey Frodo! *clap-clap* *clap-clap*
Hey Frodo! *clap-clap* *clap-clap*
Oh Frodo, what a pity, you don't understand
You take me by the heart when the ring is in your hand
Oh, Frodo, what a pity, can't you understand?
the ring hurts you, Frodo!
watch what you do, Frodo, do, Frodo, don't put it on Frodo!
Here's a little ditty sung by the Orcs while they work
Sung to the tune of Twist and Shout
Well, shriek it up baby now,
(shriek it up baby)
do the Nazgul scream
(nazgul scream)
Come on, come on, come on baby now
(come on baby)
really rip it on out
(rip it on out)
Aw, rip it on out now
(rip it on out)
You know it scares so good
(scares so good)
You know it frightens hobbits now
(frightens hobbits)
Just like you knew it would
(knew it would)
For my next song, here is a lament sung by Eowyn over the unrequited love of Aragorn
Sung to the tune of
I Don't Know how to Love Him
I don't know why he doesn't love me,
I don't know why I don't move him.
He's a man, and WHAT a man!
His eyes, his hair, his soft commanding voice,
I've seen so many men, but he's my one choice.
Should I track him down, should I reveal my heart,
should I be serene and slowly bring him about?
I've never known a love like this!!
What's it all about?
I've heard he's in love with some Elven chick,
How can I compete with that, she'll always look hip!
I'll be old and grey, and she'll be beautiful as May
he'll not give me the time of day, what more is there to say???
*sigh*
(to the tune of low places...)
I've got friends in Pony Places...
where the spongers go and the pints chases
the orcs away..
we'll i'm not big on social graces
so i think i'll slip into muumuu stasis
oh I got friends in Pony Places...
