For the Lady Lost in Mordor

Hear, Kindler.....

The tales tell of two who went bravely,
Though with sinking hearts,
Into the dark realm.

No tales tell of one who fell wounded,
And with aching heart,
Into the dark realm.

The songs are stirring; they make all weep
And wish such deeds could
Come into our days.

But she who struggles, she who cries out
And cannot find the path
Gets no songs or tales.

Crushed beneath what she cannot bear she
Shrieks defiance to
The black night above.

Her heart now lifts, defiance makes bold
One who once lay beat
She finds the lost path.

The tales tell of two, and I tell now
Of one whose courage
Would light the Starglass.
