Gwaihir the Wonder Bird

There is a bird who is like no other
soaring high
above the sky
saving the lives of many

bringing to safety our close friends
Bilbo
Gandalf
Frodo
Sam
he surely is a wonder

Gwaihir the wonder bird
eyes keen
heart deep
friend to all but the enemy
Gwaihir the wonder bird
king of eagles
worthy companion
He surely is a wonder.
