- Shelob

Frightened, they came to village of Bree,
On a dark and rainy night.
Four small hobbits from black riders flee,
Led by a tall ranger, sword bright.

Wild woods, past old troll's glade,
Terrible fight, wraith with hood.
Pierced by evil morgul blade,
Loudwater River, raging flood.

White horse leaping through water,
Frodo crying out in terror.
Carried to safety by elf daughter,
Dreaming darkness, brave ring bearer.

Driven mad by water and flame,
Black horses, riders washed away.
Land of elves, twilight came,
House of Elrond, sunny day.
