Legolas’ Eyes

They’re like oceans running deep
A romantic longing stare,
They bring strength to all around,
And glisten in the air.

They make us feel so safe,
And say that they’ll protect me,
They make me feel so glad,
As if I’m looking at the sea.

Your blue eyes bring us joy,
They bring us all we need,
To love to know, to have,
And they are a good deed.

To see them in the darkness,
To see them in the night,
They make us feel like we’re not alone,
And they are a gorgeous sight.

So bring me home to see them,
Looking at a shining star,
And bring a smile across my face,
So I don’t have to look so far.
