I Stood Upon the Shore

When I stood upon the shore
I could see Forevermore
a land I had always missed
and only had one small glimpse

until they pulled me from it's grip
I will wait here on my ship
to bear me where the sun does set
all pain and sorrow I will forget

will love always pass me by
all alone I will cry

not alone they all haunt me
so I chose the road that leads to the sea
