When I am done with a hard day's work,
Or at least what I deem one to be;
And my thirst is for a golden ale,
You will know where to find me.
There is no place I'd rather be,
When the heat of the day is over;
Than at a place I can rest my feet,
With a friendly pat on my shoulder.
Go to other places you may,
But I will dare not;
Why would I leave my favorite place,
To go to a different spot?
Well I've seen all the places you've been,
And of the ale you've been braggn';
But the only real great place for me
Is the Green Dragon!
