A Poem to Haldir

Haldir! Haldir!
An elf both strong and bold,
and I will guard Lothlorien,
I'll do what I am told.

Aragorn! Aragorn!
You have become my friend,
and I will fight beside you,
until the very end.

Galadriel! Galadriel!
Your borders I should keep,
But, alas, I have met my end,
at the Battle of Helm's Deep.
