A Friend in Me

A poem in Sam's POV


Glistening waters,
cloudless sky,
the salt rising from the sea.

On the shore,
I stand and watch,
as he sail’s away from me.

If we’ll ever meet again,
I wish that I knew,
His path I’ll someday take.

I risked everything,
and stuggled on with him,
even though everything was at stake.

And now we’ve parted,
went our seperate ways,
but in our hearts together.

Friends forever,
Pal’s for life,
forever by his side.

Even when he’s far away,
in lands across the sea,
Frodo will always,
have a friend in me.
