When the End Comes

Peaceful waters,
calming skies,
happiness and glee.

Darkness passes,
wounds are healed,
and at last I’m free.

Though bruised and battered,
scarred for life,
peace I soon shall find.

Peace for body,
peace for soul,
and my tortured mind.

The day will come,
when peace will leave,
and sp refuge I’ll find.

The Shire I’ll leave,
and seas I’ll sail,
the western lands I’ll find.

Healed in mind,
I’ll find this land,
and on the shore they’ll stand.

Familiar faces,
loving smiles,
I have found peace,
in the wonderous land
