Peaceful Daydreams

Sunny mornings,
cheery skies,
These are the mornings I miss.

Surrounded by fire,
and hating eyes,
when coming sleep is bliss.

Singing birds,
sweet berry scent,
these were the mornings,
That were heaven sent.

But as I lie here surrounded by fire,
these are the mornings,
I most desire,

But maybe someday,
I find them again,
after all the pain,
or maybe this really is the end
and of hope I’m drained

When The End Comes
Peaceful waters,
calming skies,
happiness and glee.

Darkness passes,
wounds are healed,
and at last I’m free.

Though bruised and battered,
scarred for life,
peace I soon shall find.

Peace for body,
peace for soul,
and my tortured mind.

The day will come,
when peace will leave,
and so refuge I’ll find.

The Shire I’ll leave,
and seas I’ll sail,
the western lands I’ll find.

Healed in mind,
I’ll find this land,
and on the shore they’ll stand.

Familiar faces,
loving smiles,
I have found peace,
in the wondrous land
