A poem for the End

- boriel

When it is all said and done,
and the Ring is finally gone,
and the Hobbits make it home,
and no need for Strider to roam.
When Faramir is finally saved
and finds love with the maiden brave,
and the Elves leave Middle Earth,
and they rebuild Minas Tirith.
When the King is finally crowned
and the White Tree sapling is found,
and the very last toast is raised,
and the bravery of Sam and Frodo praised.
Then we shall have lived their life
of courage and fellowship and strife;
three years of our lives we have lent
and we pray that it will not end.
