Fear tingles my arms
Hope is lost
Sadness aches in my eyes
I question the cost

Nothingness is all I want
Blessed peace I desire
Yet you would bid me stay
Not fall into the fire

I cannot stay
I cannot breath
I cannot hope

Your eyes scream ‘Stop’
This is your need
Your hand reaches out
My heart bleeds

My body worn and bruised
Held together by a thread
My mind is lost and cold
Filled totally by dread

A breath of longing
For another thing
That fills my heart
A cursed Ring

Your love profound
My will takes
