Upon the river bank so green
I watched her strolling by
Golden hair on airwaves flowing
Keep breathing, I whispered with a sigh

Such beauty had I ne’er seen
I could not look her in the eye
She stood before me bowing
Keep breathing, I whispered with a sigh

What would a dwarf ask of an Elf Queen
My heart stirred and I wondered why
There is one thing, I ask before going
Keep breathing, I whispered with a sigh

To gaze once more on the Lady of the ring
Nothing else can of her beauty vie
One golden hair was bidden; three given consoling
Keep breathing, I whispered as I cried
