I am GimliShadow and have been detached from myself.
I lurk now in the shadows
appear in the light
grow long in the morning and by the twilight
am short at mid-day and disappear in the night
and without myself I wander in fright.
Help me to find him so that i may live
falling upon you without a touch
obscuring the sun, my very source
I shift and I run away, but don't leave of course.
but now I have lost Him and seek to be one
with Gimli the Dwarf, Gloin's own son
