In the Shire, no fairer
Hobbit is there to find
Chosen by Fate
To convey the Ring to Doom
Withstanding heat and gloom
Mordorendurable
Isn't he great?

Halflings fair, halfling pair
Merry and Peregrin
Dancing on table top
Acting like hams
Though they are capering
Their hopes are tapering
Despair'nveloping
Frodo and Sam


Gollumeter
Slinkerful, stinkerful
Disarming pitiful
Inserts himself with his
Masterful guile
Frodo can't guess that he's
Shelob's accessory
Extracurricular
Arachnophile


The Fly
Hobbit dear, fights his fear
With glass of starlight clear
Escapes from the tunnel
With horror strung
Runs to the darkened cleft
He has got no luck left
Arachnographicly
Frodo is stung

Got the Ring from Sauron
He claimed it for himself
Ages ago
He met a sticky end
Travelling Rhovanion
Aquamortality
Sinks like a stone

Frodo B, bodofree
Ringbearer, woe to thee
Carrying doom to the
Nasty One Ring
Makes his way carefully
Vulcanocentrically
Sacrificed fatefully
Returning the King

Brandybuck, tummy-tuck
Flees from the Shire with
Frodo in tow
Came clean on the spying
Vigil on the One Ring
Uberconspirator
Fessing up now


Brandybuck, Brandybuck
Hobbit with all the luck
Gets himself enlisted
For the One Quest
Goes along just as mapped
'Til he is hobbit-napped
retroadventurous
Could use a rest!

Poetic muse stimu-la
Tickle my funny bone
With humourous verse!
Tho I've had a rotten day
You take all my grumps away
Intoxi-hysterically
Lifting my curse!
